RROMA participated between March 24-28, 2022 in the “Learning Academy” event organized in Durres, Albania, within the project New solutions to old problems – exchange of new types of approaches in the field of Roma integration.
The event brought together 24 representatives of the 11 partner organizations in the project who, for three days, addressed various topics including the identification of creative methods to detect and work on Roma issues; how to deal with complaints about various EU institutions and practices, methods and tools for addressing the shrinking spaces for Roma civil society organizations.
The project “New solutions to old problems – exchange of new approaches in the field of Roma integration” aims to share at European level successful good practices in the field of Roma education, employment, active participation and combating antigypsism.
This event was organized as part of the above-mentioned project funded by Ireland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation and the project “Romani Woman Power of Change in the Western Balkans and Turkey” carried out by Roma Active Albania and funded by DG NEAR.
